Three members of criminal gang arrested in Yerevan were women (video)
According to latest reports three of the nine members of a criminal gang that was exposed and arrested in Yerevan earlier on Wednesday are women.
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) today said it had exposed and arrested criminal group in Yerevan that was planning to carry out a series of serious crimes in Armenia. The NSS said that in 2015, Artur Vardanyan, a former Yerevan resident now living abroad, arrived in Armenia where he set up and headed a criminal band. The group obtained large amounts of guns and ammunition and hid it in a private house rented in Yerevan’s Nork district.
Witnesses say everything is turned upside down in the house. The area is strictly controlled now. Even the neighbours are not allowed to enter the area.
