BHK continues to help Yezidi refugees
The Prosperous Armenia Party (BHK) continues to help ethnic Yezidi families who have taken refuge in Armenia after leaving their homes in Iraq. BHK representatives today visited Zvartnots village in Armavir marz (province) to meet Yezidi refugees there. They were accompanied by members of the Sinjar Yezidi National Union. Furnaces and flour for the winter months were purchased for the Yezidi families with the money allocated by the BHK. The families also received financial assistance by the party. The Yezidi refugees said they felt the party’s support from the first day they arrived in Armenia and thanked the BHK for speaking about the Yezidi genocide in various international organizations, the party's press service reports.
