Campaign is prohibited in educational institutions, says Minister
Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan today said once again that campaigning in educational institutions is prohibited by law. Speaking at the consultation held at the Ministry on November 23, the Minister said in any sort of political activity inside educational institutions is prohibited ahead of the December 6 constitutional referendum. The minister also issued strict supervision of the process and said anyone will be punished if found engaged in the campaign. The Ministry said he will personally control the situation and enforce the law in its strictest form. Besides, the responsibility will fall on the administration of the establishment,” he said.
