The first sitting of the U.S.-Armenia Council on Trade and Investment has been launched today. On May 7, 2015, the parties signed a trade and investment framework agreement, which is already giving its results. Head of the Armenian Delegation and Co-Chair of the Council sitting from the Armenian side is Minister of Economy Karen Chshmarityan. “Armenia is ready to become a center of interests of international business community by adding traditional Armenian hospitality to favorable conditions for business activities. U.S. investors estimated capabilities of our country long ago in particular in the spheres of services, tourism, information and high technologies, consultancy,” he noted. “By raising and regulating the problems we will deepen commercial relations between Armenia and the United States,” highlighted the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills. As a result of the sitting a joint project of activities is planned to be adopted. Details in the video
