Earthquake in Gegharkunik marz
The Seismic Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia informs that on October 7 a magnitude 2.1 earthquake struck the territory 19 km south of Gavar city at 23:23 Yerevan time (19:23 GMT). The geographical coordinates are latitude 40.180 N and longitude 45.150 E at a depth of 10 km. The force at the epicenter measured up to 2-3 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt also in Gavar and Martuni cities.
