“We have encountered the most dangerous type of emigration” (video)
“The country is in difficult social condition,” highlighted the Rule of Law (the OEK) deputy Ishkhan Khachatryan during his speech at the National Assembly. He reminds about the promises of the government, “They noted that it was planned to reduce the shadow, the monopoly and create free and fair competition field. But the facts prove another thing,” noted the deputy. According to the data of the National Statistical Service, as of August 1 the national debt of our country is USD 4 billion 722 million 955.000. “Compared with May, the debt has increased by USD 92 million 722.000,” said Mr. Khachatryan. But he also noted that compared with last year the number of registered unemployed has increased by 20 percent and personal transfers have reduced by 26 percent. “It is the result of day by day increasing emigration. We have encountered the most dangerous type of emigration, when Armenian families are leaving the homeland during peacetime,” highlighted the deputy. He connects all these with the economic situation, “Even according to the official data, Armenia’s economy is in shameful condition,” stressed Mr. Khachatryan.
