Quake in Nakhchivan, tremors felt in Kajaran town
According to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, the Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency recorded a 5.3-magnitude earthquake at 3.24am local time. The epicenter was near the border with Nakhchivan, about 20km away from Armenia’s Kajaran town. The quake measured magnitude 3 at the epicenter, and its hypocenter was at the depth of 10km. The tremors were also felt in Kajaran town in Syunik marz.
