S. Sargsyan expresses condolences on the death of Jean Ter-Merguerian
President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a letter of condolence today to the Ter- Merguerians on the death of famous violinist Jean Ter-Merguerian, the People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia and the bearer of the Order of Honor. “Jean Ter-Merguerian was one of the most brilliant representatives of Armenian musical culture. His performing skills and pedagogical activities significantly contributed to the development and enrichment of classical art in Armenia. I extend my deepest sympathy to the well-known musician’s family, relatives, colleagues and to the many thousand admirers of his talent,” reads the RA president’s condolence letter.
