Standing Committee on Human Rights to discuss Urikhanyan's initiative against bureaucracy

This week, the Standing Committees on Human Rights, State and Legal Affairs and Economic Affairs of the Armenian National Assembly are due to discuss four legislative initiatives aimed at regulating a number of spheres. The initiatives propose changes to the laws on Parties, law on Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Licensing as well as to the Electoral Code. Today, the Standing Committee on Human Rights will discuss the draft amendments to the Law on Parties submitted by lawmaker Tigran Urikhanyan. It aims to eliminate bureaucratic obstacles to the registration process of political parties.
