Ambassador expressed concerns over cases of ceasefire violations
On Wednesday evening the First Deputy Minister of Defense of the RA Davit Tonoyan met with personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. The situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan in recent days was discussed during the meeting. The First Deputy Minister of Defense of the RA introduced details on the incidents at the Line of Contact. Mr. Tonoyan and Ambassador Kasprzyk expressed concerns over the intensification of cases of ceasefire violations and use of large-caliber weapons. Davit Tonoyan also informed Andrzej Kasprzyk about “Shant- 2015” strategic command and staff military exercises to be held on September 3-6, their objective and framework. DM
