The Rise Up, Armenia civil initiative is holding a rally at Liberty Square on September 4. Andreas Ghukasyan, one of the senior members of the initiative, says on that day they will continue their work left unfinished on August 21, they will try to explain to citizens the need for a change of power and show the way of doing it. “To this effect, people should block the government building, disallowing Cabinet members to enter the premises. This can be a very successful tactic, which is likely to work in this case,” he said. Davit Hovhannisyan, another member of the civil initiative, considers cooperation with the No to Plunder civic group quite possible.  “Yesterday you witnessed two parallel actions in Baghramyan Avenue and Republican Square. I think it was very important,” he said. Andreas Ghukasyan adds that political forces are also interested in implementing reforms in the country and are open for cooperation. “We have called on the Heritage party, the Founding Parliament and other opposition forces to come to [Republic] Square and create a government of people's trust,” he said.
