Verdi’s Requiem opera staged in Artsakh
On September 1, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and President Serzh Sargsyan of the Republic of Armenia were present at the staging of Giuseppe Verdi's "Requiem" opera at the Stepanakert Revival square. Bako Sahakyan noted with satisfaction that staging of various operas in Arsakh with the participation of renowned stars became a good tradition and demonstrated that Artsakh had become one of the most significant regional cultural centers. Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly Chairman Ashot Ghoulyan, Prime Minister Arayik Haroutyunyan, high ranking officials from Artsakh and Armenia, representatives of the Diaspora and foreign guests participated in the event, Artsakh President’s Press Service reports.
