“I will play during daytime and will do homework at night”: first-grade pupil (video)
Future doctors, lawyers and teachers today hand in hand are making their first step towards the fulfillment of their dreams. Today most of all especially the first-grade pupils are both excited and confused. After kindergarten and games it isn’t an easy task to sit still at school bench. Some of the first-grade pupils of “Kupalyan” college don’t hold back their tears, but following the advice of adults, they are getting ready for the academic routine, “I was told that at school I must be attentive, must listen to the teacher and study well,” says first-grade pupil Tatevik and her classmate Nare was advised not to be afraid of teachers. This year 400 000 pupils go to school, 40 000 of them are first-grade pupils. More in the video
