Most likely Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be allowed to enter Azerbaijan
According to Azerbaijani media, spokesman of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev informed that sports and politics shouldn’t be mixed and Azerbaijan will allow Henrikh Mkhitaryan to enter his country. To remind, Europe League group stage draw took place in Nyon city of Switzerland on August 28. German Borussia Dortmund, where the midfielder of the Armenia national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan plays, will face Azerbaijani “Qäbälä”. Immediately after the draw the Azerbaijani media started spreading news that it was possible that the Armenian football player wouldn’t get a visa by Azerbaijan. It was even written that Mkhitaryan could be arrested in Azerbaijan if he arrived in Baku. Tigran Balayan, press secretary of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also commented on the situation of the Armenia national team and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
