Situation remains restless at the border
From August 31 to September 1 overnight, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 120 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 1200 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 230 shots from 60, 82 and 120 mm mortars and Han-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers as well as one shot from TP-107.
As a result of response actions by the Defense Army vanguards the activeness of the adversary was quelled. Armenian forces continue confidently carrying out their military duty at the whole line of contact.
