Children have gathered in the yard of Yerevan number 45 school. Pupils are arriving at school accompanied by parents and relatives. Everybody is waiting for Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, who studied at this school and graduated in 1992. “Mr. Ashotyan, are You also against the law?” in reply to the question, Ashotyan answers, “For what have you come? Let’s speak about it.” In fact, without commenting on the  famous statement  of his deputy Manuk Mkrtchyan, he approaches the children and welcomes first-grade pupils. After congratulatory speeches and wishes Mr. Ashotyan accompanies first-grade pupil Ani Elchyan to her class. In reply to the question by “A1+” whether he recalls his first day at school, he answers, “Not clearly, but I recall, I have feelings of uncertainty and happiness, it was a celebration, but it was a disturbing celebration: for the first time we were left without parents.” The Minister enters the classroom and offers Ani, “Where is your place? Let’s choose the best place for you.” Ani finds her place in the classroom beside her future classmate Harutyun. “If you don’t like it, we can change it,” offers Armen Ashotyan. Armen Ashotyan recalls his and his classmates’ escape from the school from the school window, “We were at the 10th grade and decided to go to celebrate Erebuni-Yerevan. There was very friendly atmosphere in the class, and due to the efforts of all the pupils, we jumped out of the window and went. The principal was angry, but didn’t punish.”
