Rise Armenia initiative invites everyone to rally
On August 13, the “Rise Armenia” civil initiative called on opposition forces in Armenia to form a government of public trust. “The “discussions” on the draft constitutional reforms initiated by Serzh Sargsyan unveiled all those who are not ready to fight against the usurpation of power in our country. The “Rise Armenia” civil initiative highly appreciates the position of the Founding Parliament to take steps towards forming a government of people's trust. The layout of the political forces on the political domain requires that opposition forces unite and protect people's right. The initiative invites all opposition forces who refuse to cooperate with Serzh Sargsyan over constitutional reforms to participate in the September 4 rally to be held at Republic Square and present their position on the situation in the country,” the initiative said in a statement.
