Political analyst: Turkey may turn to Armenia

Six years have passed since the publication of the Armenian-Turkish Protocols and it is not excluded that Turkey, given the present difficult situation, may turn to Armenia with a request to discuss the documents again without preconditions, says political analyst Stepan Grigoryan. He believes that the first step should be taken by Turkey. “If Turkey wants to normalize relations, there is a short and simple way to do it, i.e. to open the border and send an official letter in the name of the Turkish Foreign Ministry to our Foreign Ministry in order to establish diplomatic relations. There is no need for any agreements today,” he said.
