Fires near hospital, cemetery and shooting ground localized and put out
On August 30 and 31, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations received reports of fires in different areas of the country. According to the reports, 1000 square meters of grassy area near Surb Astvatsatsin Medical Center, 300 sq. m. grass on Saralanj Avenue and 1500 sq. m. grass near a shooting ground on Yeghvard highway got burnt. Also, 1 hectare of turf was burnt near the cemetery of Nor Gheghi village in Kotayk marz. As of Monday, the fires have been reportedly localized, with firefighters extinguishing burning dry grass.
