Stepan Demirtchyan has no intention to join Artur Baghdasaryan
Another deliberately spread lie! This is how Chairman of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK) Stepan Demirtchyan reacted to the information published by one of the local newspapers concerning his ‘plans’ to join Artur Baghdasaryan’s “Armenian Renaissance” social-political union. The newspaper writes that ‘HZhK Leader Stepan Demirtchyan and President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan are in-laws: Demirtchyan’s daughter is married to Abrahamyan’s nephew. Given the fact, Demirtchyan would prefer to join the union formed by his in-law.’ Ara Abrahamyan is said to have become the godfather of Artur Baghdasaryan’s son.
