Live: Crush at Republic Square (video)
Short time ago a crush occurred between the members of “Rise, Armenia” initiative holding sit-in at Republic Square and the police officers. Some of the citizens tried to cross the street, but the police officers pushed them and didn’t allow to do it. Member of “Rise, Armenia” initiative Davit Sanasaryan tried to go to the center of the square, but the police officers didn’t allow him to do it by using force. In the interview with “A1+” the citizens informed about the violence used against them by the police officers. In response to the complaints of the citizens, senior police officers urged them to apply to the Police. At the moment the citizens are holding a march around Republic Square. The police officers are accompanying them.
