It isn’t advantageous to the Government to dissolve “Nairit” plant, as it is connected with big ecological problems and serious financial expenses, “The plant has been a chemical plant for decades, it isn’t an ordinary factory or an ordinary plant so that today a decision is made on dissolution of the plant and tomorrow the process of dissolution starts, or tomorrow start cutting the plant into pieces,” says Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan. With the request of the RA Government the WB held an audit and noted in the conclusion that the plant must be dissolved. At the NA during the presentation of the report on the results of the audit only Yervand Zakharyan answered the questions of deputies. The representatives of the WB had told in advance that according to their inner procedures they couldn’t make speeches in the presence of journalists: “Inner procedure of the WB isn’t a thesis of the Bible not to be discussed,” commented the HHK deputy Samvel Farmanyan. Deputies addressed various question to the Minister: “What does it mean 7.6 billion drams undisclosed financial report in the accounts payable?” asked Samvel Farmanyan. HHK deputy Margarit Yesayan asked, “Don’t we have a power according to the sales contract in order to bring the owner to account so that he will pay some amount of the money?” And the question of Naira Zohrabyan was, “Nairit” was simply plundered by former Prime Minister and his family and when we are constantly looking for culprits, the culprits are known, and there is only 100-150 dollars scrap metal in “Nairit” plant.” The Minister also answered that he has his personal opinion on each question, but they won’t give the final assessment on the audit implemented by the WB.
