Armenian athletes haven’t won medals in Tbilisi yet
On the first day of European Youth Olympic Festival launched in Tbilisi Armenian athletes didn’t manage to win medals. Our three swimmers- Artashes Adamyan, Ruben Gharibyan and Vardan Gharibyan showed low results. Today the first two athletes participated in 50 m freestyle swimming competition. Artashes Adamyan took the first place in his group and Ruben Gharibyan- the 4th, but they again showed rather low results. Yesterday our four tennis players left the struggle. Our long jumper Rafayel Shtayan performed successfully, took the 12th place with 6,44 m result. Today our gymnasts Arthur Avetisyan and Mher Tudoyan, judo wrestlers Gor Hovsepyan and Harutyun Khojoyan, athlete Yana Abrahamyan (long jump) will start their fight for medals.
