Murder in Kanaker: a 34-year-old man killed
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder of Artur Hovhannisyan born in 1980. Today – on July 14 a call was received informing that shots were fired at Tigranyan 5. The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene. It was found that shots were fired in front of the building 5 in the direction of the resident of the same address Artur Hovhannisyan born on 09.10.1980 inflicting him firearm injuries incompatible with life. According to initial data the shots were fired when A. Hovhannisyan, having left the building, was going to his car parked near the building. Through the inspection of the site 4 capsules and 1 ball were found. A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 and the Part 1 of the Article 235 of RA Criminal Code. Several working hypotheses have been developed. Necessary investigatory and procedural measures are taken to reveal the crime.
