Spokesman for the opposition Heritage Party Davit Sanasaryan has been discharged from the Grigor Lusavorich medical center, Stepan Safaryan told A1+ on the phone. So far, we have been unable to contact Sanasaryan who is said to be taken home. Mr Safaryan said although davit is already at home, he is not in good health condition ‘though doctors told him there is no reason for concern.’ Stepan Safaryan has also met with several other activists taken to police stations on Monday who unanimously said that they had been subjected to violence by police officers. “The police used violence in cars. Policemen even tried to strangle the detained activists,” Mr Safaryan said. Davit Sanasaryan was taken to a police station this afternoon with several other activists when the police were clearing the demonstration from Baghramyan Avenue in an attempt to restore the traffic there. Later, Sanasaryan left a Facebook post, saying everything is all right with him.
