Activist: Our demands remain the same
One more activist protesting rising electricity prices in Armenia has been set free from the Kentron Police Division. Narek Ayvazyan told journalists that he had been hit by a policeman in a police car on the way to the police department. He did not know the cop by name but noticed that he was wearing a red cap. “He hit me in the chest several times and when I fell down he continued to hit me in the head,” Narek said. The activist said the police cannot stop them from continuing their struggle and reiterated that their demands remain the same.
