Police remove dumpsters from Baghramyan Avenue (video)
Police officers have dismantled the dumpsters in Baghramyan Avenue, which have been used by protesters as barricades since June 23 to shield them from the police. Now they are removing the dumpsters from the avenue. Protesters were meanwhile standing in a line determined not to clash with policemen. In reply to police actions, citizens are chanting, “Go away!” and singing patriotic songs. The dismantling took place hours after protesters threatened to start advancing the barricade towards the presidential administration building on Baghramyan 26 if their demands remained unanswered.
