Deputy Chief of the Armenian Police Hunan Poghosyan has just announced that he is ready to help people who are continuing their nonstop demonstrations in downtown Yerevan for nearly two weeks. “We shall help you to move the property to Liberty Square,” Mr Poghosyan said adding that protesters seem to be depreciating their struggle. Today the police gave protesters until 12:30 to unblock Baghramyan Avenue, saying otherwise they will have to apply the powers granted to them by law. Deputy Chief of the Yerevan Police, Valeri Osipyan, once again announced that protesters are to open the avenue until 12:30, otherwise the police will unblock the street. Protesters are now discussing their future steps, with the police dismantling the dumpsters used as barricades by activists. Protesters are chanting, "Shame!"
