American blues-rock musician Beth Hart is in Armenia, who is holding an exclusive concert in Yerevan on July 3. The concert takes place within the framework of world tour of the new album of Beth Hart. Director of One Production company Varduhi Davtyan, who is the organizer of the concert, while speaking about Beth Hart said, “Talented people don’t suffer from superiority complex. She even told us not to provide bodyguards to her.” Though Beth hasn’t toured in Armenia yet, she noted that she is impressed and that Armenia is a wonderful country, “I was very happy when I was told that I must come to Armenia. I am not familiar with the Armenian music, but every communication gives an opportunity to learn about the culture of other countries.” But Beth Hart hasn’t decided yet what she will perform during the concert, “I am used to doing everything spontaneously, everything is based on inspiration. First of all I must know which kind of performances Armenians prefer and I will try to perform them during the concert.” Beth also noted that her music doesn’t have political nature, it is about her own struggle. Beth Hart is also aware of the protests against electricity price increase in Armenia, but today at the meeting with the journalists she didn’t speak about it. In reply to our question whether open-air concert is also possible here for the protesters, Executive Director of One Production company answered, “I would like very much to have an opportunity to organize an open-air concert, not to sell tickets, but it demands financial means, but it is a business.” To note, Beth Hart is also going to hold a concert in Tbilisi and the Executive Director of One Production thinks that more people will gather there as it is an open-air concert and the tickets are cheaper, “We hope that here the concert won’t suffer from the protest against electricity price increase , as well as on July 3 Zemfira will perform in Tbilisi, and many people from Armenia have left to take part in the concert there, and it is also a reason why many people won’t take part in the concert of Beth Hart. We gave 50% discount on the tickets of Beth Hart, I hope that the concert hall will be full,” said Varduhi Davtyan, who is sure that Armenian music lover will enjoy July 3 concert. After the press conference Beth presented a short performance to us. bath
