Armenian soldier dies from gunshot wound: circumstances under investigation
Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that Lieutenant Mavrik Melikyan was found in one of the military units stationed in the northeast direction of the country at 1:00 pm on June 30, with a gunshot wound in his head. Mavrik Melikyan died on the way to hospital. Investigation is underway. The Ministry shares the grief of the heavy loss and expresses its condolences to members of the family, relatives and fellows of the serviceman.
