#ElectricYerevan: Protesters form groups
Narek Ayvazyan, one of the activists participating in the #ElectricYerevan movement announced on Babghramyan Avenue that several groups had been formed to perform different functions. Each group includes ten people. One of the groups will communicate with the media, the other will deal with economic issues, the third will be responsible for technical issues, etc. There is also a rapid response group on the avenue. The participants of the protest welcomed the initiative with a big round of applause. Narek Ayvazyan also read out the names of the people included in the groups. This is meant to make the struggle on Baghramyan Avenue more coordinated. He added that their demand remains unchanged: they want Serzh Sargsyan to revoke the June 17 decision of the public regulator to raise electricity prices by 6.93 drams from August 1.
