There were no splits or opposing opinions, just one part decided to remain on Baghramyan Avenue, the other part went to Liberty Square to continue discussions, during the interview with journalists today announced the members of No to Plunder initiative, who stopped yesterday the sit-in strike at Liberty Square and joined the people on Baghramyan Avenue. Member of the coordinating group of the initiative Arthur Kocharyan noted that the statement of their group member Vaghinak Shushanyan on Baghramyan Avenue was partially perceived, “Vaghinak announced that one part was remaining on the avenue, another part, which then didn’t see the fight on Baghramyan Avenue, was going to Liberty Square.” He thinks that the statement of Vaghinak Shushanyan wasn’t perceived wholly as a group, whom they hadn’t seen before, started screaming and chanting “shame”. Members of the initiative assure they will find out the people, who during these days were trying to split the people gathered on Baghramyan Avenue and at Liberty Square. Initiative’s member Sofya Hovsepyan noted that it was rather difficult to stay on Baghramyan Avenue constantly- to view the movement from different angle, “We understood that we must start the fight on different platform, only by closing the street we won’t achieve any results, we need the advice of concrete specialists, we needed to understand the manipulations made by the head of the country, is there a place to cling, or is it just an absurd? And without the public support we won’t be able do anything.” Sofya Hovsepyan again touched upon the term “split”, by assessing it as a rough expression, “It is not a split, the change of actions won’t result in split, it will result in the further development of steps.” The initiative isn’t a coordinating group on Baghramyan Avenue anymore, and it will just cooperate with the people gathered there as ordinary citizens. By the way, member of No to Plunder Maksim Sargsyan considered it to be misinformation that he had been threatened in order to give up the fight, “If I had fears, I wouldn’t enter the fight.” During the whole press conference the members of the initiative tried to keep Vaghinak Shushanyan away from the journalists’ questions, who then was following the press conference standing aside. His friends explained that during these days all the questions were mainly addressed to Vaghinak Shushanyan and that’s why now they are trying to free him from that workload. In the end, he also answered several questions.
