Valeri Osipyan: It is only a matter of seconds to clear Baghramyan Avenue
Members of the Non to Plunder initiative have informed Deputy Chief of Yerevan Police Valeri Osipyan about their decision. “Our demands have been met partially, the decision to raise electricity tariffs has not be cancelled, so let us let people decide their future steps. They also urged the police not to interfere with the protest and allow people to come and join their rally at 8pm on Sunday. Valeri Osipyan, in his turn, urged protesters to stop the sit-in and said otherwise the police will have to restore the normal traffic in the Armenian capital. “It is only a matter of seconds to clear Baghramyan Avenue. I urge everyone to act within law,” he said.
