Comparisons with Maidan, accusations against young demonstrators, political partial analysis and distortion of the facts. This is how the Russian media have covered the demonstrations against electricity price hike during these days by trying to prove that the demonstrations are provoked and funded by the West. “It is done consciously in order to put pressure on the Armenian authorities, so that they can take appropriate measures, like in Azerbaijan, and make Armenia’s domestic policy like theirs,” says President of Yerevan Press Club Boris Navasardyan.
