Vahan Artsruni starts concerts (video)
50 years is a unique borderline for every artist’s creative work, as they say, it is time to gather stones. This year in December Vahan Artsruni will turn fifty, thirty years of which he has composed. By continuing family tradition, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Vahan Artsruni’s grandson graduated from the Medical University. During the years of study he sang in “Narek” male choir, wrote songs. In the end art won and Vahan entered Komitas State Conservatory. Artsruni has started songs based on the poems of Razmik Davoyan since student years. “What he writes is very familiar to me and second, he is among few Armenian poets, whose compositions are possible to turn into songs,” says Vahan, “And those songs don’t lose their actuality, as the real poet and poetry are beyond time.” From classic to avant-garde, from chamber music to rock, from electronic music to symphonic and choral. And as I pay much attention to this event, I decided to share my happiness with my fans. Presentation-concert of Vahan Artsruni’s official website will be held on June 19 at Moscow Cinema. The website is one of the stages. From August to December Vahan Artsruni will hold concerts. A big concert with Symphonic Orchestra will sum up the year.
