“Bibin is not a bobo (monster), is he?” Republican lawmaker Vardan Ayvazyan said during the parliamentary hearings on June 12, when explaining the reasons for the absence of Yevgeny Bibin, Director General of Electric Networks of Armenia. “He [Bibin] represents a company that has monopoly; he decides what to do and where to go next and and he did not bother to come here today. Who is that Bibin…? You cannot persuade me so easily,” Vardan Ayvazyan said reading out Bibin’s letter in which the ENA Director explained his absence from the parliamentary hearings: “Considering the fact that the Public Services Regulatory Commission has presented its opinion on all our justifications we considered our participation in the hearings as inefficient.” By the way, Aghvan Vardanyan from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation – Dashnaktsutyun described the speech of PSRC Chairman Robert Nazaryan as mustard after dinner. “Please, do not draw me in the relationship between Nazaryan and Bibin. I can only speak about the work of our Committee,” said Aivazyan.
