Armenian national team starts training

Armenia’s national football team has started training in preparation for its Euro 2016 qualifying match with Portugal at Yerevan’s Vazgen Sargsyan Stadium. Sargis Hovsepyan, the temporary head coach of the Armenian team, has invited 25 footballers to participate in the initial training. Artur Miranyan, Marcos Pizelli and Ruslan Koryan will arrive in Yerevan on June 7, while Artem Simonyan will start training with national team today and will join Armenian U-21 team on June 8. The Euro-2016 qualifying round match against Portugal is scheduled for June 13, the FFA Press Service reports.
