HUMAN RIGHTS MATTERS COMMITTEE SESSION

Social

On the 14 th of March the committee headed by Paruyr Hayrikyan will admit the annual report on the human rights in 2001. The fact that the Artsakh people don't take part in the elections carried out in the Republic of Armenia can hardly be noted as a human rights' infringement.

Paruyr Hayrikyan reminds that the human rights committee admits only the direct infringements. During the next session of the committee a point on the military prosecutor Gagik Jhangiryan will be discussed.

After complaining applications on the prosecutor were looked through he was given a chance to represent his own arguments on that. But the annual report authors having researched the arguments note that some of them made by the prosecutor contradict with those in reality.
