Elina Danielyan lost the medal
Armenian leading chess player Elina Danielyan failed to win a medal at European Individual Women's Chess Championship held in Ajaria’s Chakvi city. Today at the final round our chess player lost to the leader of the championship Natalya Zhukova. So Elina Danielyan gained 7.5 points and yielded the third prize to Alina Kashinskaya, who gained victory in this round and scored 8 points. Natalya Zhukova became the champion with 9.5 points and Nino Batiashvili took the second prize with 9 points. Our leading GM Lilit Mkrtchyan scored 7 points out of 11 possible and shared the 10th prize with a number of chess players.
