Construction in building’s yard: residents are waiting for Taron Margaryan (video)
Residents of Yerevan Shiraz 14 building claim that Arsen Mkrtchyan, who is implementing construction in the building’s yard, doesn’t have a right to it. “Formerly it was a green area, where children used to play and the residents used to spend their free time. He doesn’t have a right for construction,” one of the residents told “A1+”. Arsen Mkrtchyan, who has obtained the territory from Yerevan Municipality, presents documents verifying his rights to property and constriction. “I have all the legal documents, which verify my rights to this territory. There is nothing illegal,” he says in the interview with “A1+”. The territorial dispute was taken to the legal field, but the decision of the Court didn’t alleviate the residents’ discontent. They consider that the Court didn’t make a fair judgment. The residents claim that during the previous visit to their yard Mayor Taron Margaryan promised to solve the issue, “He put the photos of the area to his pocket and promised to solve the issue,” says one of the residents. They assure that they will continue their fight until Mayor comes to their yard and solves the issue.
