Armenian and Belarusian PMs discuss cooperation issues

A delegation of the Armenian Government headed by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan arrived in Kazakhstan for a working visit on May 28to participate in the meetings of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government and of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. In Buraba, Armenia’s Prime Minister had a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Andrey Kobyakov. The heads of the two governments discussed development of Armenian-Belarusian economic ties and underscored the further development and deepening of collaboration. Both men hailed the current level of bilateral relations and stressed the need for further development of economic relations and increase of trade volume. The interlocutors stated that bilateral cooperation has considerably boosted in recent years. Hovik Abrahamyan and Andrei Kobyakov also reflected on the development of cooperation between the two countries in question within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
