Can demonstrations against electricity price increase turn into such a movement as it happened in 2013? During that time hundreds of citizens took to the streets to protest against the Municipality’s decision to increase fare by 50% and as a result transportation price remained 100 drams. Rallies against electricity price increase are organized both in Yerevan and different settlements in the republic. According to the organizers, citizens have many reasons for struggle. According to the assessment of the sociologist, electricity price increase will cause a chain of price increases. Activists fighting against electricity price increase will not worry if political powers join their struggle. More in the video
