Hundreds of thousands of Armenians rally against electricity price hike (video)
Hundreds of thousands of citizens are holding a march in downtown Yerevan against the expected increase in electricity tariffs. Opposition figures and ordinary citizens have joined the protesters who gathered at Liberty Square, chanting, “No to robbery!” The participants say they are not going to pay off the debts accumulated in the result of poor management of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA). The next march will be held on June 16. Similar protests were held today in other Armenian cities and town including Sisian, Gyumri and Vanadzor.
