Nairit plant workers join citizens protesting against electricity price hike (video)
Numerous workers of Nairit chemical plant have grouped outside the government building wearing shirts that read, “Repay our debts: Save Nairit.” They are going to join the citizens who are holding a protest at Liberty Square against the possible rise in electricity prices. The workers say they cannot afford to pay the new tariffs even after getting their due wages of at least 24 months. “If they cannot manage the sector and govern the country, let them step down and leave the country,” they said.
