Opera and Ballet Theatre refuses to provide electricity to ralliers
One of the members of an initiative group calling itself “No to robbery” left a Facebook post saying that the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after Alexander Spendiaryan refuses to provide electricity to participants of today’s rally. “We are unable to switch on the microphones. The Opera and Ballet Theatre does not give us electricity which we view as an attempt to prevent the rally,” Vahinak Shushanyan wrote on his Facebook. A group of citizens are rallying at Liberty Square at 7p.m. to protest against the expected increase in electricity tariffs. The rally will be followed by a march. Similar protest actions will be held in other cities and towns in Armenia.
