Founding Parliament supporters again taken to police stations

The Founding Parliament (FP) opposition movement has issued a statement saying that police in Yerevan are preventing its members from informing citizens about the group’s upcoming rally. “It is already the second day police officers, who have become tools in the hands of the acting regime, have been chasing and detaining [without any ground] our young supporters who have been handing out flyers and leaflets and sticking posters informing people of FP’s rally to be held at Liberty Square at 6.30p.m., on May 30. Unlike the previous day, this time the posters were not posted on utility poles but on billboards. Remarkably, the police do not only prevent FP members and supporters from informing people about the upcoming rally, but also tear down posters,” the opposition movement said.
