Who demands creation of new parties? (video)
Operating parties have exhausted themselves and new parties don’t promise to bring any change into already rooted political processes. It is the opinion of political analysts about changes in the opposition field. “Current parties are discredited and are not able to carry out their main mission- to bring people into polling stations, a place, where everyone knows there are no real elections and in this respect new parties are needed, which will convince people to come to polling stations and legitimize the reproduction of the authorities,” says political analyst Stepan Danielyan in the interview with “A1+”. Political analyst Aghasi Yenokyan says, “After collapse of Prosperous Armenia Party political field of Armenia deserted and now there is one party in Armenia- HHK, and all other registered and unregistered parties and political unions repeat what the Republican Party does and in this respect there is serious vacuum, which creates a demand that those new parties fill the political field.” BHK former press secretary Tigran Urikhanyan has founded “Alliance” party and in the future the founding conference of “Civil Agreement” party initiated by HAK faction deputy Nikol Pashinyan will be held. According to the political analysts the only difference between current and new parties can be the external political route. “It doesn’t matter whether the parties will promise changes or not, as the aim of parties is to take part in the elections and in case of victory to realize their plans,” says Stepan Danielyan. According to Aghasi Yenokyan, it seems that all the newly created parties are pro-Russian or they announce that they are neither in the orbit of Russia nor the West, which is a bite more tricky formulation of being pro-Russian.
