Yerkrapah Volunteer Union to back Vahagn Gevorgyan in Abovyan elections
The Yerkrapah Volunteer Union (YKM) will support YKM member Vahagn Gevorgyan in the snap elections to be held in Abovyan city on June 7, 2015. YKM’s regional council today convened a sitting to discuss its support to the candidates running in the mayoral race in Abovyan city the YKM would support. During the meeting, the YKM members decided unanimously to support Vahagn Gevorgyan, who has worked for a long time at the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Defence, National Security and Internal Affairs, taking into consideration the fact that Vahagn Gevorgyan has punctually fulfilled all his duties and obligations, using his professional skills and knowledge [since 1997] for the institutional development of the YKM and improvement of the legislative field.
