Dark Hours: Citizens in Armenia to turn off electrical appliances for two hours
Many citizens in Armenia today will switch off light and unplug electrical appliances from 9p.m. to 11p.m. as a sign of protest against the rise in electricity prices. In this way, they will express their support to “Dark Hours” campaign initiated by a group of citizens. The group hopes that the campaign will cause financial losses to power generating companies and make them think about the interests of consumers. A number of news sites, including a1plus.am, will join the campaign today.
