Armenia becomes member of special convention committee of UNESCO
From May 18-20 the meeting of member countries of Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property 1970 was held in Paris- headquarters of the UNESCO. Within the frames of the meeting the elections of the Intergovernmental Committee members of Convention 1970 were held on May 20. As a result of the vote Armenian became a member of the Committee for a 4-year term.
